Dr. TSR Prasada Rao, an eminent scientist and science manager, was one of those few for whom I had a liking and friendship generated out of respect for his immense capability to relate his research to company’s and national priorities. He will holistically go into the depth of several related fields and acquire knowledge of all related disciplines where his research was likely to make impact on ground level. And thus make his research leave a mark on present time and future. At a personal level, Dr Prasada Rao was a very amiable person, with an always-smiling face inviting goodwill and contributions from his colleagues and his team.
